Pierluca Zizzi
Pierluca was born in Turin on Dec 17th, 1970. He now works there as an architect. His great passion began with role-playing games, and with his friendship to Danilo Moretti and Michele Zanellino. Together they cooperate to create card games and settings for a super heroes universe.
He started as a self-publisher with fantasy, horror, and investigation role-playing games.
His Antica Hera series, created together with Massimo Zorzi, is growing, with four basic manuals, and a new expansion called “Dark Light.”
In 2004, he began creating and self-publishing board games and card games, with “The Merchants of Oniria,” “Defence for Agarthi,” and the card game “Anonima omicidi.”
During these years, he met many authors and publishers (for example Angelo Porazzi, Walter Obert, Mario Sacchi, Gianfranco Sartoretti, Walter Castagno, and Andrea Chiarvesio), from whom he learned how to design games.
You can usually find him at many Italian fairs and conventions (Play, Lucca Games, Gioca Torino, IDeA G, and others).
Thanks to his strong friendship with GiocaTorino, Lord's of Dragon, and Terre Selvagge, he contributed to the creation of both educational games (“Ricilo” and “Uniti Nelle Diversita”) and other games like CALIGULA.
He has many prototypes ready to go, that wait to be published. Some of them were designed in cooperation with Andrea Chiarvesio (“Kingsburg”).
Pierluca Zizzi also designs games on demand. You can contact him at:
