Gianfranco Sartoretti

Born in Lanzo Torinese, 11/20/1962.
Married with Silvia, father of Enrico (13) and Anna (11), he lives in Rocca Canavese, a small country village 30 km far from TORINO.
He is one of the earlier members of GiocaTorino.
Hobbies: working in the garden, playing chess and boardgames (especially if they are shorter than an hour).
He became author when he created games for his children and then asked his friends to try them.

He liked games since he was a child. In the earlier years he played mostly Monopoli and Stratego.
Average chess player, he meets for the first time other players during 2003 edition of "the player of the year".
During IDeA G 2005, he playtests High Voltage with the members of GiocaTorino.
His first playters are always his children, who also help him in realizing his prototypes.
He would like to realize a game in collaboration with another designer.
High Voltage is his first published game.
