Starting placement of the cards

Lay the 48 HIGH VOLTAGE CARDS face down, so that they form a 7x7 square, with a free central square. Lay the 32 SCORE CARDS face up around this square so as to encircle it. Place the "0" card in a corner of the perimeter and the others according to numeric order, clockwise.

Picking a card

During his turn, each player can pick one card; after he picked it, there are two free spaces on the table.

The player can place the card in one of the two spaces, oriented at will.
Rotating an upturned card

Each player can decide to rotate an upturned card. The colored parts of the electric line must be in a different position at the end of the rotation.
Swap two upturned cards

By spending an action token, is possible to swap two upturned cards; the cards can be rotated at will.
Move an upturned card to the free space

By spending an action token, is possible to move an upturned card to a Free space; the card can be rotated at will.
Closing an electric line

The player spends an action token and moves an upturned card in the free space, and he rotates it. In this way, he closes a line and he declares it. This is a valid line because it connects two power stations on two different sides of the square, it consists at least of four High Voltage cards, it passes only once on every card, it does not have any energy token danger side up on it, and it has less than 4 energy tokens High Voltage side up. When the player declares the line, he takes 2 point tokens because the line consists of 7 High Voltage cards.The red, yellow, green and blue companies score respectively 3,5,4 and 4 points.
After calculating the score, the players place the energy tokens on the line cards.
